100% GIVING CHALLENGE
What It Is:
The 100% Giving Challenge calls on law firms and legal offices to reach full alumni participation in giving back to Texas Law. The goal: every Texas Law graduate at a participating firm makes a gift, any amount, to any area of the Law School, before the fiscal year ends on August 31. Firms that hit 100% earn recognition as Challenge Champions and strengthen the connection between their alumni and the Law School, while driving participation rates.
Why It Matters:
Alumni participation rates are a key indicator of institutional strength. High participation signals that graduates believe in and invest in their law school, which matters for rankings, fundraising, and reputation. When a firm hits 100%, it sends a powerful message internally and externally about the value of a Texas Law degree. Gifts through the Challenge boost the Law School’s annual giving campaign, enabling us to expand programs, meet student needs, and grow in national prominence.
Champion Recognition:
Firms that reach 100% alumni participation are recognized as 100% Giving Challenge Champions. Champions receive:
- Name recognition on digital signage within Townes Hall
- Recognition on the Law School website, in the Alumni Newsletter, in the annual Recognition Report, and on social media
- A glass block commemorating each year of their win (they stack!)
- Texas Law swag
